Most of the people round here use Redhat ( 5.2 ), if I wasnt so lazy i'd be running debian right now.
Pretty much all you have to do is make sure you aren't running slackware, and you'll be fine :)

Yeah, i can reccomend slink (Debian 2.1)
Slackware is _STILL_ libc5 based so it can fuck off. I have predjudice against OpenLinux, TurboLinux and Stampede too.
